I don’t see a payment option on the order form. How can I make my payment?

Customers are not required to pay upfront upon submitting their documents for editing. After you send us your document, we will review it to verify the word count and ensure that the service option you have selected is adequate based on the English usage. Within 24 hours, you will receive an electronic invoice from us, which you will be able to pay using either a credit card or PayPal.

Will my edited document include tracked changes?

Yes. After your document has been proofread, you will receive two MS Word documents. One document will have Word’s Track Changes feature enabled so that you can review all the changes made throughout the proofreading process. The other file will contain a clean document, allowing you to see what the finished product looks like.

Can you edit my PDF file?

Unfortunately, we primarily work with MS Word files and cannot accept PDF files. In rare cases, we may accept PowerPoint or other file types, but we cannot track our changes in these instances.

What if I need my document returned before the earliest date available in your schedule?

You may provide your required completion date in the special instructions field of the order form when you submit your document. We will then look over your document and let you know if it is possible to meet your deadline.

Can you provide me with a special discount?

We pride ourselves on providing affordable proofreading services for authors who otherwise could not afford to have their papers edited. As such, we set our rates with our customers’ financial needs in mind. Thus, we cannot offer special rates for most documents. However, if you have a long document (at least 30,000) words or if you plan on being a repeat customer, you can save by signing up to become a member (see here for details).
